FaceTime will not work on my new 2018 13in MacBook Pro
Hey there, I'm trying to troubleshoot an issue with FaceTime on my new MacBook. I cannot get the active window to appear that usually appears with FaceTime. I know that I am signed in, because when someone FaceTimes my apple ID, the dot appears under the FaceTime icon and the standard ringing sound comes from my speakers, but no notifications pop up to accept the call.
Likewise, I can click to "open" FaceTime, and the green light of my camera turns on, but no window pops up. When I select "Show All Windows" from the dock icon, it says "No active windows" When I click on FaceTime in the menu, the preferences selection is greyed out. Can anyone help me? This is driving me nuts!
Also, FaceTime is working for me with my Apple ID on my 27in iMac, so the problem seems to be device specific.
I'm running MacOS Mojave 10.14.3 on a 13-inch, 2018, Four Thunderbolt 3 Ports model MacBook Pro.
Thank you!
