Locked Out Of Apple I.D Due To Two Factor Authentication

Hey guys. So i have an issue. Last weekend my phone was stolen. Ive tried to log into my apple ID from my new device but because I had two factor authentication on, it continues to send the verification code to my old/stolen phone. Apple tells me to simply use another trusted device to receive a code. Easy right? Wrong. I don’t have another trusted device other than the iPad I have with a broken screen. All I am trying to do is log out of my Apple ID on my stolen device but I can’t even get in. Trying to contact anyone from Apple about this to find an answer has been a nightmare. What can I do?

Apple say:

If you can’t sign in, access a trusted device, reset your password, or receive

verification codes, you can request account recovery to regain access to your account.

Account recovery is an automatic process designed to get you back in to

your account as quickly as possible while denying access to anyone who

might be pretending to be you. It might take a few days—or

longer—depending on what specific account information you can provide to

verify your identity.
