Can someone unshare my location with them?

I had my location shared with a friend, and her’s was shared with me. Somehow, both of our locations unshared at the exact same time. Is there any way she could have unshared both of our locations? I know for a fact I never unshared mine with her, as I was driving at the time it happened. When I asked her, she said she was unshare of how it happened too. I guess I’m just wondering if there’s a way she could have unshared my location with her? I think she may have felt uncomfortable telling me she unshared the location, which I don’t care that she did. I’m just REALLY confused on how MINE was unshared.. it didn’t happen with anyone else I have it shared with.
