can't connect App Store

I'm using a MacBook Pro 13' (late 2013)

When i open app store and sign in

There has a error message that the content is " An unexpected error occurred while signing in. The data couldn't be read because it isn't in the correct format"

please help me fix it!

Thanks for asking the Apple Support Communities for help with the App Store. I am happy to check this out with you.


1. I recommend quitting the App Store using the words App Store up on the Menu Bar, then choosing Quit. Then, hold the shift key on the keyboard while you re-open the App Store. Once it opens, go ahead and try signing in again.
