Array/Matrix outputs in numbers.

So some functions gives as array output (eg. reglinp). In other programs you just simply select rows and columns for output and putting formula for them and the array is outputted into them. In Numbers only way I found is to copy the function into all those cells i want the array to be outputted to put it into INDEX() function.

eg. index(reglinp(A1:3;B1:B3;1;1);1;1) will output first row and first column of reglinp array function output.

Is there the way to do it in the way it is done in all other office programs so you don't need to loose time for all those unnecessary operations?

To output the whole array from function by typing it only once and without INDEX() function. I described it in first post.

eg. REGLINP() outputs array. I want to see and have the whole array not only the (1,1) index of it.

Here is the example from google docs - it gives me the whole array. In numbers I only get one cell in wich there is only the value from first row first column of the array the function outputs.

Sorry I wrote non english name of this function - I was sure it was one :)

Yep, I am looking for simple way to see this whole array. It is very convenient in excel, libreoffice etc. where I just select cells I want this function to give me this whole array to, and write the formula in {} (in the formula bar on the top of the program).

Also is there the way to have the formula bar on top or the bottom in numbers where I can edit the formula of selected cell like it is in most calc programs?
