Just tell them what you have told us. They will provide you with what your options are once they get a chance to look at it. Regardless, any repairs & associated costs would be provided to you free.
The warranty has ended thou.
The issue is that, since its made in Japan, it can only be repaired free of cost from there. I am stuck now, have no choice left. I reside in Pakistan.
Then you're out of luck unless you want to get on a plane and take it to Japan.
That's one of the risks you take when you buy gray market phones or buy phones in other regions of the world.
I have iphone 7 model A1779. It has this no service issue coming and my phone has been constantly restarting. I also recently discovered that this model is included in the defected pieces models which apple put forward a year back.
