How do I log into CUPS?
I am trying to alter printer options in CUPS and its asking for a username and password. I've tried the ones I log into the iMac with but its not working. What do I do?
iMac 27", macOS 10.14
The following works on High Sierra 10.13.6 (17G5019) and Mojave 10.14.3 (18D109).
Launch the Terminal. Provide your administrator password to sudo below:
sudo cupsctl WebInterface=yes
Then in the browser:
There is a man page for cupsctl.
man cupsctl
or
man -t cupsctl | open -f -a Preview
