My Apple Watch has not updated. When I tried to do it manually, I got a message saying it would not connect to my phone. Suggestion was to turn off airplane mode. It is not in airplane mode.
It’s a first generation watch.

Thanks. I had already checked that as a possibility, but I have a compatible Series 1 watch.
