iPad Pro disconnects from keyboard after short period of inactivity.

I’ve had my iPad Pro with Keyboard for 16 months. Right from the very beginning the iPad would fail to recognize the keyboard after maybe 1 minute of inactivity. Pressing the iPad down into the tray seemed to help a bit. More often I had to completely disconnect and reconnect them, sometimes 2 or 3 times to get the keyboard working agin. Major pain.

Two days ago the iPad gave out (4 months past the warranty!) and was unrepairable. So now I have a new iPad Pro. I’m having the same darn trouble with the disconnecting keyboard. Quite unhappy with this, although I do LOVE the iPad Pro.
