Following battery replacement I cannot get the light to come back on; the mouse won't turn on. In addition I've been getting intermittent connectivity for a few months despite battery changes.
I resolved this issue by cleaning the battery terminals with a cue tip soaked in vinegar. Remember to rinse the contacts with a cue tip soaked with normal water afterwards.
