Does the Apple 2 watch pair with the iPhone 10xr? It is working with my husband’s 8 but not my new 10xr. Thanks.

Is it the same watch? As you can only pair on Watch to one phone. To change it you need to unpair the from the first iPhone 8 before pairing it to the Xr. If it’s two Watches come back.
Ok check to see if the Watch is still paired to the iPhone 7 ? If not erase the Watch and settings. Go to settings on Watch >general > reset

Yes, it should pair with the 10xr. Make sure he has the latest software update (IOS 10.1.4)on his iPhone ant OS 5.1.3 on his Watch.

How do I do that if the watch is unpaired with anything I have access to? The iPhone 7 was traded in for the iPhone XR. I can’t see how I get to settings on the watch because I can’t get past the screens asking me to pair it with a phone.
This didn’t work. The watch will pair immediately with the iPhone 8, but won’t pair at all with the 10xr. All iOS software is up to date.
You mean try again with my iPhone 8 (which I don’t want it paired to)? Then erase, then try again with XR?
