Syncing old playlists from iPad mini 3 to iPhone and MacBook Pro

Back when CDs were still the way to play music in cars, I purchased music from the Apple store and burned the music to CDs so I could listen in the car. I also had conference speakers and personal recordings stored in iTunes. I stored them all as Playlists on my Mac. Fast forward, I now have the same iPad, but new iPhone and new MacBook Pro. All of these items are not recognized in either of the new devices. Is there any way to upload them from the iPad to the phone and Mac? They are all stored in the Cloud as far as I know, but they do not show up at all when I connect the devices to sync. Are they being viewed as non-purchased and therefore not available to save? I hate to lose all that music, and some of the recordings aren't available anymore (like my son's college recital). Any ways to get around this and transfer the music some other way? Thanks for whatever help you have.

Hey SmallFry58,

Welcome to Apple Support Communities. I understand that you want to have access to the same library from your iPad to your new iPhone and Mac. I like having access to my music across all of my devices and I have some info that can help you do the same. To start, do you still have access to the iTunes library that you originally used to import these songs and create these playlists? If so, you can simply transfer this library as explained in this link here: Move your iTunes library to another computer. From there, you can manually sync the music on your iOS device with iTunes on your computer as laid out in this resource below. Access your music collection on all of your devices with Apple Music

Let us know if this helps.

Take care.

I no longer have the Mac that I used to create the playlists, if that's what you mean. At the time I was creating them, they all synced to my iPad and iPhone. When I got newer iPhones, those playlists and other recordings - like voice memos, CDs with specific speakers/classes recorded, and downloaded conference sessions (purchased at the actual conference, not from iTunes) didn't show up on the phones. It seems as if iCloud isn't storing them anymore. So the only copies I now have are on my iPad. When I sync, those items do not show up in the summary window in iTunes on my Mac, so I can't manually move them. The only place I can see those items is physically in iTunes on the iPad itself. It seems if all the fixes have to be done from the Mac, so I'm stuck. Any other ideas???
