so I am backing up to Time Machine and it takes so long to back up. I am back up 17.00 GB. I have been waiting for like 30min and it is sill at (36 KB of 17.00 GB). Can you please help me.

What MacBook pro, by year, early mid late, screen size and processor speed?
What Backup drive, how long have you had it, and has it been getting nearly full?
Has it been transferring data for 30 minutes, or 30 minutes since it started time machine?
I have a early 2011 MBP and the screen size is 1280 x 800 and the processor speed is 2.6 GHz.
I have a Time Capsule and I had it for like 3 year and it is not full.
it has been 30 since it started the back up.
My Wi-Fi speeds are 72 Mbps download and 84 Mbps upload

That sounds like your Wi-Fi could be a bit slow. Is that possible?
