Apple TV (3rd gen) power supply cable specs needed for replacement

I lost my power supply cable to a 3rd gen Apple TV and need a replacement. I’m not sure what specs I need to be aware of. I found a power cable that fits the port perfectly, but leary of plugging it into an outlet in case the voltage or whatever is wrong. I read the power port is 6w but the cable I found is labeled with the following:

2.5A 125V

WS-004-7

E115330

WELL SHIN

>TPE<

Any thoughts?

Apple TV (3rd generation) has an internal power supply for up to 6 Watt. Apple says the power consumption is 1.98 Watt for streaming HD movies (less for other types of use).

W=A×V; A=W÷V=2÷120=0.017 amps

I find that C7 power cords are often rated for 10 Amps at 125 Volts, but even 2.5A is plenty save for this use.
