Can't download dropbox for gmail extension

I'm trying to add the dropbox icon to my gmail account, but everytime I go to Chrome webstore to get the extension, it tells me to download Chrome. I have downloaded Chrome, but still cannot get that extension. I just keeps circling me around and around. HELP! What am I doing wrong?
