ADWARE - PUGU

I have a adware on my MacBook Air running on the latest Mac OS Mojave 10.14.4. I done the basic steps likes updating to he newest system, checking for unknown apps and extensions, etc. Basically everything that a non-technical person can do to get rid of the problem.

But nothing.

I get constant pop-ups showing ads on both Safari and Chrome. I don't really want to add more apps to resolve this problem temporarily and slow down my computer or extend the problem further.

PLS HELP.
