From Terminal, how to open a folder in a particular view?

I have a shell script that finds a particular folder, then opens it in the Finder, but at different times it opens it in different views, e.g., icons, list, columns. How do I get it to always open the folder in a particular view?

MacBook Pro 17", macOS 10.13
