How do I update my address on Apple Pay?

My credit card company has the correct address but my old address is showing up when I make a purchase using Apple Pay (on my laptop). How do I update the address?

Select your card in Wallet, tap the black circle with three white dots in the upper right hand corner, choose the "Info" tab, tap "Billing Address," Enter New Billing Address. You can then choose "Edit" and remove the old address.

I don't need help with my Apple ID. I need help with updating the mailing address associated with my Apple Pay account on my phone. (My credit cards have the correct address but it doesn't carry over, so Apple Pay receipts continue to show an old address.)
