cannot get emojis on my keyboard after trying to add a new keyboard- emojis is not lusted as a chiice

Cannot get emojis on my keyboard

tried adding keyboard but either emojis is not there as a choice or it won’t let me add it as a choice

iPhone 8, iOS 12

After you tap on Settings > General > Keyboard > Keyboards > Add New Keyboard, make sure you scroll to the very bottom of the list when you look for Emoji.
