Hi I have made a clip with I movie. There is a lot of background noise. In the support text is told how to get rid of that, see picture
the problem is I cant find the volume line as shown?

iMovie for iOS is a different program than iMovie for Mac, that this forum deals with. It has a different interface and controls. The support text that you posted is for iMovie for Mac. I use iMovie on my iPhone 6S. The only thing I see when I press the sound button is louder or softer

Are you saying that you cannot see the slider bar that adjusts the noise, or are you saying that you cannot see the tool bar with the equalizer symbol at all?
The instructions apply to iMovie 10 on a Mac. Is that what you are using? iMovie 9 might have different control displays. In iMovie 10 the display should look like this:
Are you not seeing that?
If the equalizer symbol is not activated or displayed, try selecting the clip with the audio in it and see if that makes the controls appear and work.
