Set live photo 'bounce' effect frames

We love live photo's and to add 'bounce' and 'loop' effects. But we are often frustrated because it automatically chooses a portion of the live photo to add the effects on, which is often not the best part of the live photo.

Is there any way to choose which frames of the live photo to add effects on?

Photos is picking a section of your Live Photo for bouncing, that is suitable, because it does not need much stabilization. Sometimes it helps to set the key from to the section we want to use for bouncing.

Or, you could try an app like Into Live Pro to trim a copy of your Live Photo to the relevant section you want. Then try again to loop or bounce this section. I am using Into Live Pro also to create Live Photos from Video Clips.
