I bought an iPhone from T-Mobile being unlocked for any carrier. I tried to install a cricket SIM card and it doesn’t want to work , I called T-Mobile and told me to contact apple customer care

Apple can't do anything if the phone says "invalid SIM". That means that T-Mobile did not unlock it. See if this link helps-->How to unlock your iPhone for use with a different carrier - Apple Support
