My MacBook Pro laptop was stolen out of my car. I bought a new one today and want to make sure the new one is replaced with my old computer

I bought a new MacBook Pro today because my other one was stolen from my car. How do I get that information transferred to my new one and make sure this new Mac book is registered with my Apple ID?

MacBook Pro 13", macOS 10.14

Only from a backup if you have one. You can't get the data from the stolen computer. You don't want what's on the stolen computer which has all your account information and passwords. You want to start the new computer from scratch.

After you turn on the new computer for the first time, just follow the Setup Assistant which will ask for your Apple ID and password. Registration was done when you bought the computer. No need for you to do a thing.
