Whenever I try to add my work email, which we use through google suite, it keeps asking for the password for "null". It was working for a long time, but I had to re-add it recently and now encountering this error. The email is like myname@myorganization.com instead of @gmail.com. My personal gmail address is added just fine

The big thread with many people having this problem is here https://discussions.apple.com/thread/250259379. The only workaround seems to be to "Add Other Account + Imap/smtp details". More details here: https://discussions.apple.com/thread/250259379?answerId=250259379021#250259379021

I manually put in the information, but unfortunately it is now Google that is blocking it

"Less secure app blocked

Google blocked the app you were trying to use because it doesn't meet our security standards.

Some apps and devices use less secure sign-in technology, which makes your account more vulnerable. You can turn off access for these apps, which we recommend, or turn on access if you want to use them despite the risks."

Allowed less secure apps and I was in. Thank you
