Hi :) I've been able to use an Xbox 360 controller on my old MacBook Pro but so far my Mac mini (late 2012, Mojave 10.14.3) fails to recognise it. I've installed various drivers and I'm using a USB receiver but it just fails to recognise it. I'm sure there is a simple solution but I just can't find it. Any suggestions?

I can think of 2 possible issues: 1) Does the old MBP use Mojave or an older OS? There were reports some years ago that an OS upgrade broke something. I don't know if that was ever resolved. 2) try moving the dongle to a different location. Interference may be blocking the signal.

Thanks for that, it appears to have done the trick, though I might add that it only works with an xbox one controller, I think that the 360 is no longer catered for by Apple which is a shame but I'm not complaining.
