Iwatch 4

Im looking to buy a new series 4 watch. My network provider doesn’t support the watch as I’m not with EE or Vodaphone. I’m wondering whether it’s worth me buying the Cellular version as I know there’s a chance that more service providers will eventually be on board too. Will it affect the functionality of the watch if I’m not using cellular? Obviously I won’t be able to make calls I know. Tia

The GPS only model does "Everything" the Cellular model does as long as your iPhone is nearby. Text/Messaging, make/answer phone calls, Walkie-Talkie, give you current weather data, Find My Friends, Apple Maps, Reminders, Control music being played on your iPhone, play music stored on your Apple Watch, show you your calendar, Apple Radio, Show Stock Market information, etc...

The Cellular has one advantage in that it can operate away from the iPhone, such as when out for a walk, run, bike ride, etc...
