Mirroring saved vids to tv via Apple TV 4K fine from iPXSm, but live streaming is just buffering.

While it is possible it is merely to be used as a temporary measure. The phone provider will throttle the connection once a certain threshold is reached and any long term usage would be in violation of their fair usage policy.
Also, it won't serve well for mirroring streamed video, which is an intensive task. Buffering would be normal under those circumstances.
Ultimately the Apple TV is meant to be used on a proper Wifi network with internet connection from an ISP.
Better add that live streaming is perfect on phone, and that there is no internet connection for Apple TV.
I was hoping to be able to mirror without an internet connection..... and possibly without a WiFi network. Is that possible?
