So I am trying out Apple News +. I am wanting to read the current issue of The New Yorker magazine but there does not seem a way to read every single page, cover to cover. A lot of the famous New Yorker cartoons are missing. Is this a bug or a feature?

In the Texture app you can still reading every page of The New Yorker, (until May 28), but it seems that it is not possible in the News+ app. I hope that Apple can fix this in the next issues.
I have no problem seeing every page, including the ones that are just ads. I also have the cartoons. I also discovered a cool feature: at least one poem so far (not all the way through this week's edition) has an option to hear the poem read by the author.
Thanks for the reply. Yes, let's hope Apple fixes this immediately, but I am afraid right now they consider this a feature and not a bug. Hopefully I am wrong and this gets rectified.

When you want to read a downloaded magazine, find it in My Magazines in the News+ feed or search for the magazine in Following.
About downloads and device storage
You can't delete an issue that you download to your device. New issues of magazines that you follow automatically download to your iOS device when you're connected to Wi-Fi (and have enough storage space). Automatically downloaded issues delete themselves after 30 days or sooner if storage space is limited. Manually downloaded issues won't delete unless storage space is limited.

Thanks. This is the experience I am having as well. For the latest version of the magazine I see the first few ads on the first few pages but as soon as it gets to The Table of Contents then I only see the stories.
Same experience on my iPhone, iPad and on my Mac.
Issues from a few weeks ago display every page; for example the March 11 issue and anything older that I accessed displays every page. The three newest issues of The New Yorker do not display every page for me.
Anyone know what is causing this?

Thanks for taking the time to reply, but your reply did not address the issue I am raising. Some magazines you see every page, advertisements and all, and other magazines you don't. I want to see every page, every advertisement. For The New Yorker it is especially bad as you are seeing all the articles, but not a lot of other information. For example almost all the cartoons are missing. Unfortunately I think this is a feature, and not a bug, but it is not good at all. People want to read magazines cover to cover, advertisements and everything.
Thanks for the reply. Any idea what you are doing to see every page? I have tried everything I can think of and not having any luck. I did see how to see all the articles for the WSJ and LA Times (by tapping the top of the page) and tried the same technique for magazines but this just brought up the ability to see back issues.
Hopefully someone has a solution to this issue as it is not a good way to read a magazine at all. I want to see the entire issue like I can do with the app RBdigital.
I’m also missing the way we had (and still having) in Texture to read The New Yorker (cover to cover). In News+ we can only read some of the articles, and not the whole magazine.
