Unable to print Web pages since Safari 12.1 update

They are working for me using 10.13.6.

Try setting up another admin user account to see if the same problem continues. Please post back on whether or not this worked. Also try the Safe Mode. Please post back on whether or not this worked.

Even the printer icon on the safari menu will not respond. I use chrome or firefox when i want to print from aol.

I've now had this printing problem on both of my Macs: a 2018 MBP, and my 2012 iMac, both developing the problem since running Safari 12.1 and Security 2019-002 updates. Some webpages will print, others will not.

Upgraded to Mojave, still the behavior persists for some sites. Same as what Charlie Chiesa stated, I get the beep and no response. Will not bring up the Print dialog box, so you can't print to printer or to pdf. However, I've found that quitting Safari, and immediately restarting (I have Safari set to remember my open pages), then the page will print. Not great, but a work around for the time being. Any thoughts on the source of the trouble? Definitely began with the Safari 12.1 and Security 2019-002 updates.

I have the same problem with msper64 and Charlie Chiesa. Seems to be when printing from pop up windows. Just beeps with print icon, command P, and file-print tab, no response at all, I have to go to another browser to print. Seriously annoying.

I have the same problem. Whenever it is an Adobe document in Safari, Control-P or Print functionality just causes a beep. I've tried restarting and no luck. I can download the document and then it prints find. Normal Safari webpages work fine.

Just discovered that with a document downloaded that refuses the short cut c-p-- I tried a right click and then scrolled down to print page --and the document printed. Not the real thing but it seems to work.

Thank you for this suggestion (right click). I was having this problem too - driving me nuts! Doing screen shots to capture what I needed. Looks like the right-click/select print is my workaround right now. Thanks again!

safari 12.1 will not allow mew to print from pop up menus

just installed 13.6 O and no change

Used to work just fine now I must use chrome to print pop up web page messages in AOL

Did you try another admin user account and the Safe Mode? Etrecheck?

The workaround for pages that won't print is to do the command - P, then at the bottom left in the PDF dropdown menu, select Save as PDF. Then open the file in Preview and print from there.

Unfortunately I never get to that command-p. When I do c-p all my computer does is beep and fails to respond in Safari.

Works fine in Chrome!
