Debit card declined

When I try to download an app it takes me to the update payment method screen and I fill it out and it says that my payment method is declined I do not understand why this is happening cause I have money on debit card and everything

Check that the billing information was entered correctly. If so, contact your bank or the iTunes Store staff.
