Can you see how much charge the Apple Pencil is at while it is charging via the USB power adapter?

No.

But if you have the Apple Pencil battery widget installed on your iPad, you can plug the Pencil into the Lightning port on your iPad, wait for it to pair and then check the battery level that way.

It would have been useful for Apple to put an indicator (green light or something) on the pencil itself to show when it is fully charged when using the USB connector so you don’t have to keep checking.

I did try the widget after connecting the Pencil to the iPad was able to see the status.

This 3rd iPad but it is my first Pencil and Keyboard so am still learning the ins & outs. Just got them with the new iPad Air.
