Skype & FaceTime picture blurry

The pictures on Skype & FaceTime were always fine before today. I restarted my laptop this morning, so probably got some sort of update to software maybe? Now my picture is very blurry. The person on the other end looks fine, and all my photos are fine. What gives? How can I get it back to how it was?
