How do I retrieve old voice memos?

How do I retrieve old voice memos. I recorded a memo back in July and when I tried to play it, it wouldn’t play. I’m guessing it expired so how do I retrieve a expired memo?

Yes I just emailed it to myself and it works. Before I emailed it, it told me that the attachment was to large and that I should mail drop it. Once I did that I was able to open the memo!

so this would probably explain why no one was able to open it in there messages? Either Or Thank you for your help!!!!

That is if you delete them they get removed after 30 days. Are the memos still visible?

Make sure you iPhone is updated to iOS 12.2. The voice memos don’t expire just they might be corrupted. Did you have your iCloud on? Try access it from another device.
