I have a problem with my camera and I’ve tried everything to fix it

I have a iPhone 7 about a year ago I was at a party and went to take a picture and my rear camera said “ flash is disabled your iPhone needs to cool down before during the flash” I then put it inside because I thought I was to hot and so to camera and flashlight haven’t worked since I saw online that others had the same problem but I tried clearing the app, restating settings, sighing out and then sighing back in, restarting, rebooting everything I have contacted Apple but they too had no answers for me pls I am looking for anything to help me and I am very disappointed in my iPhones camra performance concidering I nearly had it a year when it broke
