How can I stop/block the pop up ads about scam ads, like Mackeeper??

How can I stop/block the pop up ads about scam ads, like Mackeeper?? I updated my mac to Mojave, and whenever I open Safari it automatically opens a new tab--Mackeeper webisite.

Removing tuniaf.com popup from Mac Does anyone know how to remove tuniaf.com adware which seems to be hijacking my safari browser on my Mac? Specs: MacBook Pro (retina, 15inch, mid 2014); High Sierra (v10.13.4). Safari v11.1.Symptoms: all windows closed and popup asking me to check a box to confirm I am not a robot. I've closed down immediately. Also noted a lag when using the browser (now that I think of it).

How to Block McAfee Pop Up? Articles "Allow or block pop-ups in Safari on Mac" & "Block Pop-up Ads and Windows in Safari" do not work to block supposed McAfee Pop Up from pyfed.cfd site. Have MAC Book Pro with Ventura 13.3.1 (a) I do not have McAfee app. Tried blocking on both Safari and Chrome.

Still didn't work. It just kept opening a new tab with this scam ads :((
