MacBook Pro (Retina, 13-inch, Early 2015) GPU Upgrade

I would like to upgrade the GPU inside my MacBook Pro in order to play games. I have a 3,1 GHz Intel Core i7 CPU and 16 GB RAM.

The new GPU must be compatible with Boot Camp.

Is it possible?

What are the possibile options?

How much does it cost to have it replaced?

If not possible, can you suggest me any suitable external GPU?

Not even by sending it back to Apple to have it replaced?

GPU are replaced by replacing the logic board— Apple policy is to reinstall the original equipment the Mac shipped with, no upgrade there.

The solutions would be to upgrade— or eGPU compatible

Mac models, which have Thunderbolt 3 (USB-C) ports:

  • iMac Pro
  • iMac models from 2017
  • Mac mini (2018)
  • MacBook Pro models from 2016 or later
  • MacBook Air (Retina, 13-inch, 2018)
