Select multiple non-adjacent cells in Google Sheets

Yes, it shouldn't be necessary. But doing this step determined that it was indeed a plugin preventing this functionality.

I have disabled plug-ins 1 by 1 and found the culprit and emailed their developers.

Where can I start troubleshooting the issue here? I'm pretty new to Mac, about 3 weeks in.

Not sure if there is a system feature, chrome extension or other that may be hindering this function.

**EDIT - Opened a new sheet in incognito and I was able to use command + click to select multiple cells.
