Since the 9.0 update, my keynote keeps crashing everytime I press save or when it autosaves. I tried to reboot, I tried to delete the plist file and reboot, nothing works. The 9.0.1 update did not help at all.
While Apple fixes this, I would like to re-install the last older version of Keynote that worked, most probably 8.3. Is there a way to do this?

You reinstall a previous version from a backup you have made, the Apple App Store only supplies the most recent version of applications.
If you don't have a previous version, try this work around, creating a new user account and test Keynote from there:

Thank you very much, it was helpful: I did managed to install the older Keynote via Time machine ... and , ******, the 8.3 version behaves as the new 9.0.1 version .i.e it keeps crashing at every save / auto save
Using it with a Test user though works .. I 'm clueless about what to do :-(
Time machine should have a previous version of Keynote if that was on your system.
Dear Gary, do you think I could locate a backup from Time machine?
Then keep using the new user account until Apple fix all the issues associated with version 9.x.
There is now an updated version 9.01 of Keynote that should (fingers crossed) fix our problems)...
Well, working in the test account is far from easy because of all my files are in my primary account.
9.0.1 was released but didn't help :-((
