Possible Downgrade

I have an iPhone X and am starting to become unsatisfied with the price I'm paying, I have recently considered going back to an iPhone 7 Plus. Obviously this isn't what is expected of an avid apple user but for being out on my own and paying bills, it's adding up. Is the iPhone 7 plus still worth buying, how long will it be supported by apple?
