Disable absolute Volume / Bluetooth headphones too loud

Since a few updates ago I have a problem with my bluetooth headphones, because they're always too loud, even on the lowest setting. Recently, I found out that this is due to the coupling of the devices and the headphones volume control. This means, that if you change the volume on the device, the headphones volume changes while the devices 'stays at 100%'.

Now to my question: On Android, the developer option 'Disable Absolute Volume' reverses this. Does a similar option/workaround exist on a (non-rooted) iOS-Device?

iPad mini, iOS 12
