Disable absolute volume control (bluetooth)

I bought new pair of bluetooth headphones which have absolute volume control. Meaning the volume of device which works as the sound source is linked to the volume of headphones. This becomes a problem with iPad as the lowest volume setting is still too high for me. Especially at night when everything else is quiet.

I couldnt find a way to disable this function from iOS.
