ITunes 12.9.3.3 issue 4/4/2019

recently updated ITunes to 12.9.3.3. Have IPhone 7S, and it is current with updates. Now when music plays in ITunes on the phone each selection repeats. I have turned repeat off yet problem persists. Help? when I hit next on my headset songs generally play twice, but not on the ITunes on my computer.

Then you need to take the time to review your music library in iTunes to see if the problem resides there. Otherwise, I suggest you contact iTunes Support for assistance. I’ve not seen the behavior of each song playing twice, and then a change. If the iPhone is the only device this occurs on, I would in-sync the entire music library on the phone. The power the phone off and back on again, then connect to iTunes and select the music you wish to sync again and try it again.

continue to have issues. have IPhone 7S, current IOS and ITunes, and have been using ITunes for at least 5 years. Am very familiar with repeat, shuffle, and how to able/disable same. On the phone ITunes repeats each song once. I know by this it is not a repeat. I use Siri to shut down repeat and turn shuffle on/off. any other suggestions? delete and reinstall? does not appear to be an issue on pc or ipad. Have been using IPhones for about ten years, and am usually pretty savvy about issues. this on has me stumped. I have been using computers for 40 years, and have had college level classes in four computer languages (all outdated) including IBM assembly language. I am not a computer expert, but not a novice either.
