XS phone - how do I delete an email without opening it and sending it to the trash
Delete email without opening it. Swiping left just sends it to archive

When looking at the inbox, tap on Edit. Then tap the circle in front of the email, and then go down to the bottom right and hit Trash. You also may wish to change the settings for the swipe so you can send to Trash instead of Archive.
