Replacement battery MB466LL/A

Hello,

I finally gave up on my original Apple battery for my Macbook 13" aluminum late 2008 and replaced it a couple of days ago with a "BULL-TECH A1280 Battery Replacement New Laptop Battery for Apple A1280 A1278 (2008 Version) MacBook 13-Inch Series" from Amazon.

I think I let the battery discharge to 2%, I was in the middle of a project and I am pretty sure that it's the new battery that I discharged to 2%. It is now fully charged at 100%.

I have not yet unplug the charger, working on my desk. However, the battery icon shows a zigzag/lightning sign on it, which the original battery showed when it needed to be replaced.

Is something wrong with this brand/battery? It got good reviews on Amazon.

Thank you!

First mistake with these, is to run battery near zero power; then expect to revive to full capacity

& also never 'calibrate' the battery. ~ I've no experience nor any brand familiarity with 'bull-tech.'

My portable Macs have replacement cells and I've re-calibrated them on more than one occasion.
