Get rid of Fox News from news feed COMPLETELY

Hello, I followed the directions in former threads and eliminated Fox News from my preferences in the center tab of news. As

you can see from the screenshots I just took, Fox News is nowhere in my preferences, but it still keeps popping up all over my news feed (trending). How do I eliminate it COMPLETELY from my news feed? I don’t want to see Fox News AT ALL ANYWHERE in my news!

Apple News sidebar too obtrusive I’ve upgraded to iOS 12, and Apple News now sports a one-third page sidebar, which obscures the news feed. I’ve asked Support how to remove or reduce it, but it seems to be a “feature” - perhaps the idea is to make it easier to navigate, but I can’t bear it and will be looking for a replacement news aggregator. Is it possible to not show news headlines from Apple News + ? In the Apple News App I see headlines for Apple News +, even though I never subscribed to Apple News +. Is there anyway to stop seeing the headlines from Apple News + in my news feed?

How to disable Apple News from launching? This is macOS Ventura. So I don't ever want to launch an Apple News article. How do I stop Apple News from launching if I accidentally click a link that leads to Apple News? It's invasive and I honestly would rather read the articles from the original source not in yet another app. There's got to be a way, right? [Edited by Moderator]

Thanks! I actually hadn’t turned on the option in settings to limit stories to my preferences! No need to restart.
