Books on iPad does not display titles

In Books on my Mac, I see thumbnails of the covers, and titles printed below. Good.

In Books on my iPad, I see thumbnails but no titles below -- only the thumbnails. Some books and pdfs have titles too small to read in the thumbnail, or they're old leather-bound books without titles on their front cover. I want to see the title!

Does anyone know a way to make titles visible?

Book covers don’t display in Books iOS 13.1.3 I added a couple of new .epub books to my Book Library on my Macbook Air (OS Catalina). The cover art is displayed nicely. When I open the Books app on iPad (iOS 13.1.3), the books are not displaying the same cover. A blank generic cover with the book title only is displayed. These books are stored in iCloud. Why is the correct book cover not displaying in iOS? Other books previously added are displayed properly.

iBooks will not sort by title I have selected “sort by title” in iPhone books library and it doesn’t work. It worked before. And it works in my iPad. Ideas?

Drop Cap from Pages only displays in macOS Apple Books and not iOS I'm exporting my Pages doc as an EPUB and when viewing in Apple Books in both iOS and macOS, the drop cap only displays in macOS Apple Books. In iOS Apple Books, the drop cap is missing. Any ideas why? Thanks, Herc.
