Slow apple watch update

I've updated the new IOS of Iphone and there was this notification that asked me to update the new version of my apple watch and i click update but i haven't put my apple watch on the charger, and it turns out that my apple watch couldn't receive any notification and i tried to update it with putting my apple watch on top of the charger. When i tried to update it, it kept rejecting it says " software update failed", and i canceled the update and the apple watch was unpaired to my phone and i tried to paired it again but it kept asking for an update and now the update is supper slow it takes more than 3 hours. Please give me some solutions for the problem.
