CD burner

New to Apple after 20 years with a PC. Bought a Patuoxin External CD DVD Rewrite Drive from Amazon to burn CDs for the Car. Now find I need Burner Software. Where do I get such software compatible with a MacBook Air? Some "Free" stuff on the internet looks very dodgy. To be honest, at my age I'm proud I've managed to get the CD transferred to the MacBook. Please Help.

MacBook Air 13", macOS 10.14

As long as your Mac recognizes the burner you can burn CDs directly from iTunes (which is included with the System software or can be downloaded from Apple's site). Please see

Note that you have tospecify whether you want a data or an audio CD and for the car you need the latter.

You should have iTunes but if not you can download it from https://www.apple.com/itunes/
