Charger identification

I am in college and my friend and I both have the same Mac Book with the touch bar and she had lost her charger and now claims that my charger is hers. Is there anyway I can prove that this charger is mine. I know its a dumb disagreement but I do not want to have to purchase another one.

Genuine magsafe 2 Charger gone faulty I have what looks like a brand new MD506B/B Apple 85W Magsafe 2 Power Adapter. Which was purchased as a separate item. It has a serial number. I do not have a reciept for it. It was in a white cellophane wrapped box. I have all the packaging. After 2 weeks use it ceased working. (U.K. Plug) How can I prove it is still under warranty ? It was supplied with a second hand macBookPro as new. The vendor has gone out of business.

No. Technically there is a serial number, but it's not likely that you would have that documented anywhere.

FYI:

There is a serial number in the System Report.

But unless you previously made a record of it, you won't be able to prove ownership.

I don't think there is anything which would distinguish other than watt. I already print (ink) an identifier on the charger.
