Images have multiple "Everyone" "Custom" permissions

I don't know what's happened to my images recently. Many of them appear to have multiple permissions saying "Everyone" and the Privilege is "Custom".

The more usual permissions appear too, but I'm not able to edit the images - some of which I scanned myself.

I can unlock the padlock, but the permissions won't delete (minus is greyed-out).

I searched on this site and any relevant solutions were at least eight years old, so I'm hoping someone can give me a more recent fix for this.

Using Mojave 10.14.4 on an IMac Pro (2017).
